Het Internationaal Kortfilmfestival 2017 is voorbij, de volgende editie is gepland tussen 1-8 december 2018. Onderstaande informatie slaat op de editie van 2017.
The International Short Film Festival Leuven 2017 has passed, the next edition will be December 1-8th 2018. The information below refers to the 2017 edition.

On Saturday 10 December, prices were awarded at the closing ceremony of the 22nd edition of Leuven International Short Film Festival. Many directors were present since, next to the Festival winners, the VAF Wildcards were announced.


 

FLEMISH COMPETITION: FICTION 
Jury Award: Hampi (Pim Algoed)
Award for Best Debut: Boi (Anthony Nti)
Audience Award: Downside Up (Peter Ghesquière)
Special Mention: Nymphet (Laura Hermanides)

FLEMISH COMPETITION: ANIMATION
Audience Award: No Offense (Kris Borghs)

EUROPEAN COMPETITION
Jury Award: The Hunchback (Gabriel Abrantes, Ben Rivers)
Audience Award: 90 Grad Nord (Detsky Graffam)
Special Mentions: Over (Jörn Threlfall) en Au Loin, Baltimore (Lola Quivoron)

GUEST AWARDS
HUMO Award: Downside Up (Peter Ghesquière)
