Kortfilmfestival Leuven wants you to claim your frame! For our 30th birthday, we’d like to invite any form of visual artists or enthusiasts to pick a frame and create a drawing, painting or photo based on our festival mascot.
Our mascot was first created in 2002 and quickly became the face of the festival, shining bright on posters, logo’s and merch. For our birthday edition, we would like to honour this tradition, but also: give the original image a facelift. That’s where you come in! Help us create a communal artwork and submit a frame, adding your own twist and flavour to our mascot.
We’re not just looking for the festival’s frequent visitors, we would like to motivate students and other new artists to submit as well. The resulting animation will be shown at the festival’s 30th birthday edition! The deadline to do so is 15 September.
